STANFORD ACHIEVEMENT TEST SCORE RESULTS SAT 9'S

The scores reflect the students at Far Horizons as they performed measured against the National percentile.

With 99% being the greatest possible score attainable by any student taking the test, a score, for example of 90% means that 9% of the students taking the test nationwide scored higher than this student or group and 89% scored lower.

We are proud of the scores our students have achieved. We do not take practice tests or devote classroom time preparing or drilling for these tests.

We believe that class time is better spent providing students with a broad base of information which they will be able to draw on when taking these tests.

Montessori Methods in Action

Far Horizons gives students a solid academic foundation and a love of learning.

We are proud that Far Horizons students have attended many of our country’s leading universities and colleges including Stanford, Harvard, Yale, MIT, USC, UCLA, Boston University, Amherst, Columbia, Chapman University, Brown and Texas A&M, among many others.

The Montessori Method, by allowing students to explore and develop their unique gifts, has helped foster great creative minds, minds that have changed the landscape of our world. Included in this group are the founders of Google, Sergey Brin and Larry Page,  renowned cellist Yo Yo Ma, and author Anne Frank.

What gifts can Far Horizons help your child explore?
